Find out which replacement glass fits the alfi 0425 NEO insulated container, how to install it, and what to watch out for.
Quick answer
The alfi 0425 NEO uses a dedicated replacement glass with sealing ring (1.00 l). Installing it yourself is straightforward if you follow the correct steps.
Why use the original replacement glass?
The alfi 0425 NEO is designed with a specific glass and sealing ring combination. Using a non-original part may compromise the vacuum insulation or cause leaks. The original Ersatzglas mit Dichtungsring is made to fit exactly, ensuring your carafe performs as intended.
What to check before ordering
Make sure your carafe is the 1.00 l version of the 0425 NEO. The replacement glass is not compatible with other alfi models or different capacities. Also check the condition of the sealing ring – the set includes a new one, so you can replace both at once.
Frequently asked questions
- Which replacement glass fits the alfi 0425 NEO?
- Only the alfi Ersatzglas mit Dichtungsring for the 1.00 l version of the 0425 NEO. Check the model number on the bottom of your carafe.
- How do I replace the glass?
- Remove the old glass by unscrewing the base or lid (depending on your model). Insert the new glass with the sealing ring in place, then reassemble. Make sure the ring sits evenly to avoid leaks. Always replace the sealing ring together with the glass for a reliable seal.
- Can I use a different brand's glass?
- No. The 0425 NEO's glass is shaped specifically for its housing. A non-alfi glass will not fit correctly and may break or leak.
- What if the new glass still leaks?
- Check that the sealing ring is properly seated and not twisted. Also ensure the carafe's base or lid is tightened fully. If the problem persists, the carafe body may be damaged. Inspect the carafe body for cracks or deformation before ordering a replacement.
